Using my training as a singer, I work with singers and performers using yoga
techniques to foster a greater awareness of the workings of the voice, and
helping students become more connected to their body. Yoga postures are
taught to foster increased lung capacity, strengthen respiratory muscles and
to improve balance, focus and flexibility. Studies have shown yoga to be an
effective treatment for performance anxiety, with positive side effects. (see
